Car insurance is not compulsory but the majority of people have it

The minimum age is 15 years old

We drive on the left hand side of the road

All the seasons are opposite to southern hemisphere (europe etc)So winter is May to August time.
Is health care free ?

Yes it is but most people have health insurance as you do have to pay for doctors visits

Unfortunatley not unless you have a "world" set which it seems some "forces" people have purchased as they get posted to different locations

All will work in New Zealand if your coming from europe apart from TV and Video recorders.However the plugs are different

There are only 2 spiders that are poisionous in New Zealand which the "white tail" is the most common neither should kill.
